VICTORIA PLATT is a veteran of the business. A “triple threat”, she’s blessed to be able to move between film, television and stage.

TV  Victoria is currently shooting the new CW series STAR-CROSSED in her favourite city, New Orleans. She recently shot episodes of The Mentalist, Bones, Switched At Birth, Criminal Minds  and played Jennifer Beal’s sister in The Chicago Code. She is most known for her roles on ABC’s The Gates as the good witch Dr. Peg, the feisty Vicky Spaulding on The Guiding and on All My Children as the clairvoyant voodoo priestess Corinne.

FILM Victoria starred in My Girlfriend’s Back with Malik Yoba and Tangi Miller and had a featured roles in Flip the Script with Robin Givens, Jonah Hex with Josh Brolin and The Baytown Outlaws, playing brothel madames in both; go figure. She was delighted to be featured in the HBO original movie Winchell portraying the iconic entertainer Josephine Baker and in Bill Duke‘s dramatic thriller Cover, which addressed HIV/AIDS in the Black community. Her first feature was playing the title role in Alma’s Rainbow and was followed by the role of the estranged daughter of Dale Turner, played by the late Dexter Gordon, in Bertrand Tavernier‘s ‘Round Midnight.

STAGE . Victoria was nominated for an Ovation Award for her portrayal of Emilia in In the summer of 2013 Victoria returned to her hometown and The Public Theatre to reprise her role as Emilia in the hip-hop musical Venice. which in the previous year she was an IOvation award nominee.she was nominated for an Ovation award LA premiere at the Kirk Douglas Theatre . Victoria was thrilled played Roxy opposite Troy Kotsur in the Fountain Theatre’s adaptation of Cyrano last month. She and in spring of 2013, she’s very excited to be moving with it to The Public Theatre. On Broadway she played opposite Gregory Hines in Jelly’s Last Jam directed by George C. Wolfe and danced and signed in the Mark Taper/Deaf West co-production of Pippin. She has performed at The Geffen, REDCAT, The Elephant and The Public to name a few.

When they are not lost, Victoria and Terrell can be found on either coast, Los Angeles or New York, in New Orleans… or in Atlanta…
